Agama President Attends ILA Awards
DALLAS, Texas (March 7, 2008) – Bryant Price of Agama Advertising, first lieutenant governor of the American Advertising Federation’s Tenth District, attended the Innovation and Leadership in Advertising Award presentation ceremony and luncheon on Thursday, March 6th, at the Belo Mansion and Pavilion in Dallas, Texas. Mr. Price attended the award ceremony as a member of the AAF Tenth District Executive Committee.

Susan Saurage-Altenloh, the current Tenth District Governor, presented the award and recognized Mike Boylson, the CMO of JCPenney, and their partner agencies for the “Every Day Matters” campaign. The award recognized the JCPenny team’s accomplishments in four main areas: use of traditional and non-traditional media, employment of Tenth District people and businesses, embracing diversity in both employment and advertising message, and illustrating outstanding creative use of advertising and media.

Each year’s ILA recipient is chosen by a committee composed of Tenth District members including the current Governor, Executive Director, Past ILA Chairperson, current ILA Chairperson and current ILA Vice Chairperson. In 2007, AT&T won the award for their advertising efforts.

The event was co-hosted by the Dallas Ad League and the AAF Tenth District. The Tenth District represents advertising professionals for a 4-state region including Texas, Arkansas, Oklahoma and Louisiana, and the AAF includes over 40,000 members nationwide.
